I bought this 2 flashlight at waltmart to really see the difference between the 2, the 3Watt is brighter and the color of the light is more violet-blueish like an HID. the 1Watt is more pure white.
I will be keeping the 3Watt for $25 I think is a good buy, I have more than 20 rechargable energizers 2500mAh nihm from my R/C stuff I can use two for it.
1Watt is rated @ 45 lummens 5 Hours
3Watt is rated @ 80 lummens 2 Hours
