Towards the end of last year there were rumours floating around of a 2xCR123 version of the piston-drive lights. In some ways, this would seem to me to be the more logical complement than the D20 to the D10 and EX10 - it would be an excellent alternative to the PD30 too.
The D20 has been out for a little while now, but the 2xAA format has always seemed to me a bit ungainly - too long and thin, and not a good shape for EDC. I do like the look of the new head though with the larger reflector - especially if the diameter would make it compatible with the Surefire filters and diffusers. So it would be great to see it on a 2xCR123 body.
The EX20 should be a winner. But does anyone know if (or when) it's going to happen ?
