maglite XL 50

I bought a new Maglite XL 50 about 4 weeks ago. I carried it in my jacket pocket for about 3 weeks. I just went to use it tonight and the batteries are dead. Anyone have this problem???

The XL 50 turns on in my pocket on a regular basis. Not a good feeling when someone say's "There's a light in your pocket" and you had it on til its about dead without knowing :-(.
