Wow that's an ugly render... But interesting 2xAA configuration, and without those colors it would be much less ugly.

@Shooter21: check out the Sunwayman M40A. Quite a nice light with decent throw for a 4xAA. Another option - although not 4 but 3xAA could be the Olight S35 Baton, and I'm still expecting the ZebraLight Q50.

2xAA side by side would be nice. Even nicer would be 2xAA with two leds - bare XM-L + XP-G2 in reflector/TIR. Kind of SC52 + H502 in one body.

I made that... with duct tape :D
But seriously, that sounds like a very nice camera bag light for me.

Duct tape works too :laughing: but with two batteries in one body you would gain better thermal properties and better energy efficiency. And yes I would want something like that for photography and travel but I would still prefer throwy (or focusable) Q50 for travel.
