Ignoring the HCRI for a moment..which one of these LED's?

hello, ignoring the HCRI, how would the Nichia 219 4500k hcri be better than a cree normal 4500 MCE 75cri LED ?.
if you had a choice, would you still go for the N219, or the MCE?.
sticking one of these in an Alpha Light, but HCRI is not an issue really, just the better quality of LED....
it's either the MCE , or a triple 219 (which would be brighter too?) not by much right?.

well, not knowing what your application is, I'd say the Nichia 219 is not too fussy on drivers if used in a flashlight.

The MC-E has a higher output, can be configured different ways, but needs different reflector design. The 219 generally drops into any XP-G using light, with some minor sanding or shimming of its PCB. The MC-E won't be driven to its full potential by an XP-G driver. It also costs more, doesn't it? This is sort of like asking, "Aside from the ride quality, how is a Mercedes Benz better than a dump truck?" Well, for what?
