New TerraLUX Colorado, looks like a PA40 or E40

Just saw this on Terralux's website when I was checking out the THL-10. Looks a lot like a PA40 or E40 with similar specs but with an msrp of 98 bucks

Is it really that hard, to come up with your own design? Looks like you have to copyright everything these days.

I'd bet a years wage that you're pretty close to right. Perhaps more than just one company, but when you look at a lot of different brands, certain design elements scream of a singular source.

Yes, that's a PA40 with an updated emitter and a different body color...

And don't worry about the price. In six months it'll be half price on sale somewhere. I can't imagine they'll sell too many at almost $100 a pop.

Should've made the plastic bright orange. That would appeal to all the industrial type workers looking for a bright, AA powered light. The grey is hideous.

I'm not worried about the price, there are enough of the 4AA lights to chose from in all price ranges to keep me happy lol.

Yeah.... I kind of want to make a thread just on that topic. Why must everything be blaaaaaaaack... Supposedly it always sells the best, but I'd love to buy more super high quality lights in various colors!
