Hmmm, Somthing is wrong here. AMD 2200, and took me 1minute 9seconds. Somthings not right there between our times dont you think. I have done these and benchmarks before and always scored low, even when in safe mode with little memory being used. Anyone know why?

Raggie, I'm not too nuch into computers anymore but I do remember the 2800 has the Barton core with twice the L2 cache. My dad uses his comp for scientific simulations all day so he got 2Go of ram set at 2-2-2 and I OC'ed the fsb by a little bit.
I'm actually kinda surprised you didn't score better than I since that's quite a bit faster than my dad's cpu clock. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Mine's only running at 1140 Mhz. At the rated 1200 it's unstable, programs were crashing once or twice a week. At 1140 it runs up to a year at a time.

I did not run your app, but my system shows bogomips = 2274.09

The initial loop was finished in 1 minute 5 seconds.
I'm using a 1.8GHz (1,800MHz) Pentium 4 processor with 512MB of RAM on the motherboard.
I set the program to calculate pi to 16,000,000 digits.

Raggie I would'nt lay too much wait on that test as I have an AMD64 3200+ 2Ghz CPU & only finished the 1MB test in 44secs.

amd athalon thunderbird 1400 (not xp) 1 min 41 seconds. But I get 44 fps in unreal 2004 using a good video card, and benchmarks are the only thing I can find which makes my computer seem sluggish. It doesn't hurt that I am using a Gforce FX 5700 with 256 megs, and I have 768 megs of DDR ECC ram.
