Hi - nice LED, please keep it that way, as these bins are so hard to find.

Assuming it is reasonably well heat sinked, 750ma is of course spec. 1 amp is pushing it, and requires it to be REALLY well heat sinked.

1000mA would not be a problem if you are using a good heatsink. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm using a WX1S at 1500mA /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif for quite some time now and everything is still going fine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Mag3D with FM 3H, LuxV WX1S, modded FatMan1500 and 5x 1/2D 4000mAh NiMH batteries. Great light! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/str.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Vf Bin T has 6.39-6.87V range.

If you have a good heatsink, load 6.8V and get over 900mA.

I would vote for 1A, assuming your heat sink is good.

I modified (thanks to CM) my KL6 head to run at 1A and it does not get too hot, although it is definitely warm.

For comparison, the much smaller KL4 head gets about 650mA and gets VERY hot - in fact too much for me to hold on after 5-10 minutes.
