Just found a 1 000 000 candle halogen spotlight at Canadian Tire for 9.99$ :naughty:. I can't seem to find a brand name on it. Regular price : 29.99$.
I don't know if it comes fully charged, but it's pretty bright (just got mine out of the box) and a VERY tight spot. the construction seems worth about the original price and it's fairly compact for a spotlight.
Sorry, I forgot to check how long the deal is going on for and sorry for not having any pictures (I'm at work). Rough guess is that it beats my TK40 in brightness and throw, but most certainly not on durability.
I was looking at buying my first HID this morning and felt the
sickness coming over me again. The only HID I was really interested in is 4-6 weeks delivery, so I figured "screw that, I want my fix NOW! plus, I'll have a reserve item I can order next time I feel sick"... so, while I was there, I got the Eliminator 25 000 000 HID spotlight (100$). That thing's got a HUGE reflector on it... can't wait to get home to plug it in... and since there where only two of the spotlights left on special, I got one for my cousin as well... 27 000 000 candles in one buy for less than 150$ tax include... I really feel like I don't belong with the rest of society outside these internet walls...
I guess I'll be putting on some snow shoes when the battery indicators turn green.
