In my never ending quest for the cutting edge of high tech I headed out to Big Lots today. Saw their newest $5 model of AA cell charger that had a Samsung adapter I thought might work (no such luck)with my Hue model. In addition it had a "Bonus: New! Turbo Flashlight" attachment. So, I was, of course, required to give it a shot.
The light works, anyhow. About what you'd expect from a 5mm LED. Fairly white, too. The head of the charger also has 2 tiny blue LEDs in there to show it's powered up by tightening the tailcap. It will supposedly charge a bunch of different phones, according to a long list, but not mine. Looks like it might do my wife's LG.
I guess I can use it as a spare battery carrier.
