I live here in Australia and we have a very good lubricant here called Inox, IMHO better than WD40 as I find WD40 tends to dry out too quick. I work as a maintenance tech and have found Inox to be a far graeter lubricant than WD40 and I use it all the time.

WD40 is a fine product for what it is, but it was never meant to be a good universal lube. You're using the wrong product if you're using WD40 as a universal lubricant. The company "WD40" sells much better lubricants under their 3-IN-ONE brand name. I don't know anything about Inox, but there are hundreds of excellent lubricants to choose from if what you're looking for is a good universal lubricant. And there are multitudes of specialized lubricants to choose from, some of which are better than others if you're looking for a specialized lube.
