Difference between these three Flashlights

From my eye the first and third are the same. The second one charges the batteries inside the light, while the first and third you take the batteries out to charge. From what I've read, most people seem to think the first and third is the way to go, and the second one isn't as reliable..

Otherwise, the same light? Same specs and everything?

THanks

For the most part, AFAIK. I wouldn't look at the one that charges in the light at all. You can do a search for Ultrafire 500 and Scorpion 500 in the "Search" box at the top of the page for a ton more info..

the ultrafire is the better choice at this point. it uses a more standardized battery configuration (not a stick pack). So you can choose your own cells (better quality), and it comes with a extender that can be removed to run on shorter cells (18500 instead of 18650), and the bulbs are only about $10 each for it, as apposed to the G&P which seems to be more like $20 a bulb.

Order the ultrafire bare (no batteries and charger).

Order 2 18650 protected Li-Ions from AW in the dealer section. I don't recommend ultrafire cells or any other generic cells. dollar for dollar, AWs cells are not only the best value, but I feel comfortable recommending them because they have good quality protection circuits and great performance.

Order an Ultrafire 2 channel Li-Ion smart charger from either AW or many other sources online if you prefer (AWs is nice because it has some solder bumps on the positive contact side, makes some cells easier to charge without having to use magnets, also comes with some 1/2 CR123 size spacers for charging small cells easily)
