I am new to LED Flashlights, but from what I've gathered in my initial research, this seems like one of the best lights out there for under $50.

I am looking for an all purpose tactical light, with awesome throw.

Opinions? Thanks!

Also, any suggestions on a good light in this category that is better at flood? I could use one for cycling...

I've had good luck with mine in caves so far, but I only use it for long distance spotting, because it has an extremely narrow beam (that's why I got it). I would personally want something with a wider beam for a general purpose light.

I had my eye on this one too but was also looking at the T20C2 for 30 bucks more. I wish I could get both, since I saw they are being discountinued.

Very good choice and one of if not the best in its class regardless of price.

As for more floody light look at a Quark 123x2 tactical or Fenix PD30+. Their both good medium range with lots of flood.

Now if you want a more tactical size light with flood look at a MG PLI MC-E from shiningbeam.com they seem to be popular with the cyclist or Olight M21. The MG PLI may be out of stock though but I can give you a link to the PLI thread if you want some more info. If I remeber correctly they are around $50.

The P20C2 has pretty close to the same throw but with a lot more flood. Only problem is its touchy strobe that is too easy to activate.

I've got a T100C2 Mark II, warm white. I've been very pleased with it so far. I like that it has a touch more throw... I actually find this more useful for every day use, because I never know what I'll be wanting to point it at. I've had floodier lights, and they seem to peter out too early for me.

I use it with 18650's, and runtime is very good. I've been carrying it in my coat pocket for a month now and am still pleased with its performance. You can't go wrong with this one.

I have had excellent luck with EagleTac lights and the T100C2 is a smoking good deal! You would not be dissapointed!

Count me in as well as a satisfied T100C2 user. The T20C2 is being updated without the annoying strobe within a couple of weeks, it might be worth checking that out but its like $30 more.

Good choices mentioned. I've got an ITP SC2 - great XP-E R2 thrower for as slim/small as it is plus infinitly variable brightness (ramping) which I use a lot if max isn't needed. Best part - less than $40 from battery junction. Real happy with it.

+1 on the T100C2 mkII, mine is in N/W with a smo reflector. I guess you could always order it with a O/P reflector to get more flood.
