To mdocod & the other surefire gurus:

I'm currently using the LF EO-M3T in either M3T or M4 with 2x3.7v Li-ons.

I want to know what cell extender (or even a 3 cell Leef Body) I need to use for my M3T & M4 so that I can run the HO-M6R lamp using either 3x17500s or 3xRCR123s etc... I prefer to use my existing M3 & M4 bodies with an extender, rather than buying a 3x18650 Leef body.

The HO-M6R is rated at 2.1A, 10.8v according to the specs @ the LF website.

Thanks!

M3T: add 2 1 cell extenders or, M4 add 1 1 cell extender....

(making either a "5" cell light with internal space for about 166mm of cell length, make a ~16mm long "half cell" spacer and run 3x17500. which are about 150mm total length)

M3T: add 3 1 cell extenders for a total length of about 200mm, or M4: add 2 1 cell extenders again for a total length of about 200mm. Run 3x17670 in either.

You can't use RCR123s to drive that lamp in a single stack, it works in the M6 because the current is loaded across 2 banks of cells, each cell only has to tolerate about 1.05A which is pretty reasonable for most decent quality RCR123s.

2x 1 cell extenders?? Darn... it would be better if I just bought a Leef 3x18650 body if Lighthound had any in stock.

Thanks mdocod!

I would definitely wait for the leefbodies, a 3x18650 body is long, but will make for a nice long running potent light (1 hour runtime).... the 18mm cells give you about an extra 30% runtime.

No. You can use A14 with your M3. But you may need a conducting ring and a 1/4 inch spacer.
I used AN14 with my G3 ;)
