Is this a Good choice for Keychain?

The Fenix p1. good choice?

thanks for reply. the arc is $40 for 5.5 Lumens, That Fenix is $45 for 55 Lumens. It's like a Fing serach light on my key chain.

The P1 is probably OK but I always thought it was a little fat for a keychain.I only have a PhotonII on mine and it fits right in with my keys without being bulky.You might want to take a look at the LOD CE,less bulk than the P1 but still bright with the added advantages of multiple levels and a common battery.I have both the P1 and the LOD CE.I would consider the LOD CE for my keychain but not the P1 ,it is just not the right size.

The new model with the Cree XRE LED is almost here. 90 lumens vs. 55. And $5 cheaper. Model P1 CE.

Personally I find CR123A batteries too expensive at local stores so I have stayed away from 123A lights.
I use mainly AAA lights.
The L0D CE is about the same price as the P1. the multiple levels let you go to dimmer modes when a bright light is not required such as reading menus in a dark restaurant or doing close up work. 20 Lumens(3.5hrs) -> 7.5 Lumens(8.5hrs) -> 50 Lumens(1hrs) -> Strobe -> SOS
