To nominate a thread which may have been lost to time;
"This fish light is straight baller son"

(If anyone can dig up the discussion thread or at least the auction screenshot, that would be cool.)

I knew this would come up!!! Bust-a-rib funny

Here is a thread with the text body of the Ebay auction to which this refers

I wish. RyanA was just riffing there, that's not the text from the auction, unfortunately.

I've been using Wayback Maxhine to look for this...
https://web.archive.org/web/20190121034426/http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/content.php

But as I don't know what I'm looking for I can't find it. They do have records from the right time, it's a matter of finding the correct thread as the search function doesn't work.
If anyone has any more info to help let me know and I'll give it a try. Failing that you'll probably be better at than I am.
It's a dead useful site, whatever.

Except that it was on the cpfmarketplace (dot) com

I believe this is the thread ...

http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/sh...ion-FUNNY!!!&p=2266943&viewfull=1#post2266943

That link is broken, of course.

I, too, think that it may be in the Wayback Machine, but the interface is so cumbersome that I can't seem to find it (and I have tried several times)

Based on my join date and when that thread was referred to in the Engrish thread above, I think it would be between Dec. 2007 and February of 2009. Likely posted in the Other Auctions subforum on the Marketplace.

All joking aside...

Fixer, you really do deserve an award! I enjoy all your posts and your vast knowledge, combined with your collection of lights, and accessories, which span generations is truly amazing.

Thank you for all the time and effort you give all of us here on the forum.

With all best wishes,

RL
