Hey Dave!
Just wanted to let you know I recieved the P7 today.
It is perfect! Exaclty what I was looking for!
I may have to try out one of your DDs soon.
Thanks for everything!
Julio

Hi julio

I am glad you like it, they are quite bright. I will have the DD for awhile yet since I was lucky enough to aquire another 30 pieces but after that it is a toss up. I talked to my rep yesterday and he said their engineers were telling their large customers to change to GD's since these were slipping farther out everyday. Late summer at best he said.

Thanks

Dave

I have to admit I'm pretty curious about Diamond Dragon. Is it possible for me to pay with money order or cash?

Hi RyanA

I will accept money orders. I will build a module up and put your name on it and when I get the MO I will pop it in the mail. Let me know what you decide.

Thanks

Dave

Hi All

I told you all that I would keep you informed on the D36 product, Welllll they were received by the folks I ordered them from and I guess 36mm in chinese means 32MM so this batch is a no go.

I should feel lucky that it was caught on that side of the ocean. I am in the process of seeing if they will reorder and amount of time involved. My plan is to reorder.

I have received some D35.5 modules that I may be able to work with. I am in the testing stage and I may have to source a flat O-ring to act a a flange that would be put against the lens and then insert the module.
I have a cabelas with a D36 head for 12 volt incans, They work in that but are just a MM short and I have had to add a 1 or 2mm flat O-ring and then all is well. The other item is finding a driver that is 17MM but will work with 2 rechargables or three primaries, now it is no problem with MC-E I will just wire 2S2P but a P7 is going to require a sandwich to arrive at 2.8 amps. The pill is large enough for this to be accomodated and I have one working but I am not sure it will work with 8.4 volts. most of the 7135 drivers witll only work to 6 volts

With all that said the quest continues and I am quite tenacious when I get something on my plate so don't give up yet, it is just a couple of more hurdles to cross. I will get there !!!

Thanks

Dave

Hi All

I was having trouble getting the K2 TFFC focused as I told a few.

I have started mounting them on a thinner board and with a mop reflector they are beautiful. These are 350+ lumens when drove at 1.5 amps.

I have some great warm white tints and a few neutral tints.

The D36 have been ordered again and at the proper length so the clock starts again!!!

I will also have the drivers I need before they get here.

I would be interested in a three level warm MC-E in MOP D36 reflector that would work well on 2x 18650 cells in my M90 Rattler, but not for at least three weeks.....

Hi

Cernobila

You will be just right, two weeks to make and a week to swim here and you should be on time. I am shooting for being able to use up to + volts. At this time I don't have a solution for 3 rechargeable but anything up to 3XCR123 will be OK.

I think they will get them right this time.

Dave

It will be Pete as soon as I get the modules, as I said above they came in the wrong size and I have reordered but it realistically will probably be 3 weeks.

I will start an interest list later today hows that. I will later tomorrow see if I can get the 35.5 modules to work. I have a bug today and am going to take it easy.

Thanks

Dave

Good morning Dave! I live in Brazil and would like to purchase a drop in her, I have a dereelight cl1h, I would put a drop in MCE or p7 but he told me very hot, then I will go to the R2, which one is stronger than you have to sell? And money would like to know if the R2 is stronger than a Fenix TK11 or Eagletac T10L, greetings.

Thanks Jose I am glad that your lights arrived safe and quite fast. These K2 are great LED's but you have to use a MOP reflector then they smooth out with a beautiful beam. You got a the perfectly neutral tinted K2TFFC it is just white.
I also have a great sort of buttery warm white K2TFFC available also.

Have fun Jose

Thanks

Dave
