Hi guys,

If you have a Streamlight Polytac X, could you share your thoughts on how you feel about the body clip? Is it made of stainless steel, Ti, aluminium, etc? Is it easy to bend, or is it solid? Any other comments?

Hope to hear from you soon.

blackened stainless steel, pretty sturdy, not going to pop off the light and like just about any clip, you could bend it if it catches on something when you have it clipped to your pocket. Should be easy to replace if you do bend it. Since the clip is held by a ring between the head and the body, it's not going to come off when you are carrying it.

Mine is fine on a plain 6 year old Polytac. It's the best clip I have.
The one on my Pro Tac 90 X would hold an airplane together but I took it off.

@xxo thank you for the input! I assume the inner diameter of the ring of the two-way clip you have is about 1", right?

@hsa thank you for the input! Is yours the two-way clip or one-way?

I really like the color of both the old and new clips. This brings a new look to the light, compared to the popular shiny clip, not that it's bad.

@hsa and @xxo thank you both! You assure me of the clip quality, making it easier for me to make flashlight-centered purchases😂.
