seoul in P3D ?

Has anyone ever done one of these swaps?Fred has some nice warm seouls and I have a head that not glued:twothumbs soooo....as you can see I'm thinking why not.

hey bud... if your P3D was a Cree... then the reflector will NOT be ideal for a SSC.... u might have to play with the depth of the led in relation of the reflector to get a decent beam profile outta it...

A reflector from a P1D Luxeon will work in the P3D head. A reflector from a Fenix Rebel will also work. It appears to be the same as the P1D Lux, but with an OP finish.
 
It should work as along as the LED is at the focal point of the reflector.

If you're talking about the Cree reflector, it works but there is no hotspot. It is total flood. Light output is down considerably also. That is with the Seoul all the way up into the reflector.
 
Thanks all.not what I wanted to hear.Where can I get some warm cree's with a low vf say 3-3.25? WJ tint would be nice.
