Fenix P2D Q5 offers 30 hours out of a single CR123 at its minimum level and you can switch it on directly at minimum with the head loose and a single click.
Take a look at the Olight T10. More than 2 modes, but you don't ever have to bother with the strobe/sos sillyness, and can leave it in one mode, which will let you choose from several brightness levels. Light will remember the last mode it was in. Runtimes range from 1 hour at 180 lumens to something like 40 hours at 10 lumens, on a single CR123.
I think I stuffed up with the link, just realised the one in the link is a Cree version and I didnt know the Ultrafire R1 actually came with a Cree, thought all Ultrafires of this model were fitted with a Rebel R1 LED.

Has anyone used the P1D or P2D Q5 with a rechargeable RCR123A? Fenix does not recommended the use of RCR123As in any of their lights except the P3D, T1 and TK10.
I want to know if it it safe to run a RCR123A in a P1D or P2D with overheating. Or it depends on what mode I run them on? Like not on turbo mode will be okay??
