I was all set to get the 1L but have been looking at the 2l...size wise they are still pretty close 3.3 vs 4.6 and in a way, I do like the added length since I imagine it's a little more ergonomic in the hand. But I wonder if the extra inch and 1/3 will make it much less pocket friendly. Anyone EDC either of these please chime in..:)

As you mentioned, the 2l fits better in my fairly large hand.

In the pocket sideways, the 1l will be a better fit; I clip the light vertically to the corner of the pocket, and it fits very comfortably.

When carrying a Gerber multi-tool (horizontal carry,) it clips perfectly to the bottom of the sheath. This even allows for hands-free illumination, if needed.

If you have smaller hands, the 1l may be the way to go. Bigger folks will appreciate the longer 2l, I believe.

Good luck with your purchase !!!

The 1l is rated on high at 110 lumens for 1.75 hours.
The 2l is rated on high at 180 lumens for 2.5 hours.
I would go with the 2l for the extra brightness.

I like to get the PT-2L, I searched and found one member use 3.0 rechargeable with no problem "http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=280676". But do any CPF member know if it will take the 3.7 rechargerables? Thanks in advance.
