Found this light the other day and bought one:

Dot-it's with 5mm leds are meh. This one, however, is pretty cool. The beam is using an optic with diffuser. Even with that, I think the beam should be wider than it is. The motion sensor works fine, with sensitivity only within a few inches to prevent accidental turning on. Tint is toward neutral on mine.
On 3 nimh AA cells, it pulled 240ma on high, and 50ma on low. It also auto shuts off in an hour and has a magnet and adhesive choice for mounting. Mine is simply on my nightstand as a before sleep light right now.
I stopped looking in my supermarket long ago for any worthwhile lights, but that is where I found this, of all places. Go figure.
