If it's green I'll cry a little. Not much because it'll still do what I need it to. Just a little. [emoji1]

Way they came. I was thinking the same thing tho. 😁 they really are a great level of light. But there a difference beam pattern then all my other Malkoff's.Might just be me but looks like 95 percent of the light is in the hotspot. Very little spill. But again only had them 30 minutes 😁

Mine def has the traditional M61 hotspot with spill. Pretty much looks like 3000K. Very warm, but the eyes adjust to it just fine. ITs awesome! Mine is riding in my Sky Lumen Nguyen, should get good runtime on 21700. LOL.

Now THAT'S an honor PSM.

I find that when I white wall hunt with very warm lights I don't think I like the color. But when I use a light for a long time, I REALLY appreciate it.

Burly, I don't think there will be any tears. I think it may well be dead-nuts-neutral. I am so happy this worked out!

Waiting to see in-use/beam shots of these modules!

I'm no good at all at beam shots but could give it a try. I can give an update on mine though 17 hours down and both of course still going fine. 2XAA was dimmer right from the start and 17 hours later is 1/2 as bright as the 3X123. The 3X123 looks the same now as when i started.

Current draw at 17 hours

2XAA 2.2 volts =11.75
3X123 8.1 volts =42.2

@Update@
30 hours in and both still going strong.
2XAA is much dimmer I'd put it at 5-10 lumens. no problem using it to walk around with
3X123 is to my eye unchanged and looks like it's at full output.

So yes runtime is almost always better off single Lithium as opposed to two lithium ion check out the 91 thread. Post 1097.
