Hallo all flashoholics!

I have a Fenix 3PD, a Wolf-Eyes M90 13 V and a Mag-Lite 3C Led. Now Im looking a round and are a little intressted in a nice portable HID with flood and spoot adjustments. Now comes my question! Why shall i go and spend my money on one more light (the question is just what my wife is saying to me hihih)? Me myself, really like the idea of flashligt with great punch :twothumbs

Anyone how have any suggestions for a nice HID to use while out walking for maby 50 minutes or so. Or is a HID mayby not so good light to have for this purpose??

If you're constantly using your light during your walks, a rechargeable HID would be awesome. I've used my Microfire (24 watts) on walks in the country and it's amazing, and fun, and... miraculous!!

When I'm walking alongside streets and don't want to distract drivers of oncoming cars I use a 10-watt Wolf Eyes 123X. I bought it from pts-flashlights.com, and it was very inexpensive when the CPF member discount was factored in. The 123X isn't rechargeable but it runs a long time on four CR123s. It doesn't dim as the batteries deplete, but it does suddenly wink out (as do all HIDs I suppose), so you might want to have a small backup light too.

Thanks for a great answer now i know a little more

Buy one, go out in the darkness and you will know, why !!!
It is a great feeling an HID Light in to have in Hands, it is like an light weapon.

To me, 24w HIDs and higher are really astounding in throw and total output. Usually the more convenient the size the more have the opportunity to use and enjoy it. :)

Looks lika a nice little light ;-) Do you know if its usefull to use when you are out walking at the evening (is it too much of a spotlight or is it sending away a usefull wall of light?) I like the leds, can be usefull if the spotlight is too strong?
It will be like walking with one car headlight in your hand, for better or worse.

I have just orderd the 700 lumens lamp from Lumensfactory to my Wolf-Eyes light. Just have to wait and see if the 700 lumens will satisfy my needs.....if not the 3200 lumens N30 will be a "must have" ;-)

Do a search on the N30, it's awfully small, outputs 3200 lumens, great side spill, great throw, 70+ minutes runtime, LED lights for less demanding tasks. It's a very nice buy, irrespective of price.
