WTB: Maglite C ➡ P60 Host Conversion

There was such a thing (in a sense), but I can't remember what it was called. The P60 lamp assembly went inside of a larger reflector. From what I understand the outer reflector didn't improve the throw though. It was a custom light/head altogether, and not a Maglite conversion. I think it was out around the time AW had the lithium ion C cells for sale. I think Fivemega made it, but I can't remember for sure. Hopefully he can chime in. Now that I think about it, maybe it was even Lumens Factory that made it. Something like the Seraph. I wish I could remember.

2P 18650 (3.7V, 7000mAh) P60 1D M*g are here.

With this kit P60 can be installed and work but you need to center the P60
With same kit you can also use D36 module in M*g C or M*g D.

Left: 2D M*g with 6 Eneloop and LF incand D36
Possible to use in 3C with 2x21700

Right: Shortened 2C M*g with single 18650 and P60

The P60 lamp assembly went inside of a larger reflector.

This is what you mean and it does improve throw of Sunlight incand system but not much for other brand P60 and it's because of different focal length of non FM modules.

I am aware of fivemega's most excellent piece of kit and it is terrific.

However:

My use case requires the ability to use both 2x21700 and/or 2x26650 cells in series of both INR and LiFePO4 chemistries, possibly even 3x21700 and/or 3x26650.

What about new 4C M*g barrel shortened to size of 2x21700 length also bored out to accept 2x26650
Knirling area is longer than 3C and fine grooved for better and safe grip. C plus serial number.
Total length is slightly longer than 2C and also can take 3x26500
Fully deanodized, polished and black reanodized in type III hard. So inside bored area is hard black. Original switch is installed.
No matching head or tail cap available.
