I just bought the 2 AA MM LUX

I just bought the 2 AA MM LUX, well yesterday i did, and i must say its really not bad, i did not have much to compare to although i did do a comparason beam shot against my shed with the sl pp 4 AA lux but the pics did not come out too good, can someone give me some tips for beamshots, i.e. camera position relative to the front of the flashlight?

I'd say off to the side, top or bottom of camera and use a sturdy rest or tripod without flash.

Also understand that beamshots will give you a general idea, but I've found that actually seeing it yourself differs from them.
