First: My english is very bad, please excuse this.
I have developed a new method for lumen metering and i would be very glad, when you give me your opinion about the method.
In a nutshell: I count the pixel brightness of the beamshots.
You find all about my method and a table with 43 different levels from 14 led flashlights on this website:

But: It is all in german, because i could not enough english for writing down all in english.
