I'm going to third Choua's idea(s)... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif it's the most flexible game plan and easily caters to the masses. So is Sequoia going to remain the place to go/meet?

Based on comments, emails and phone conversations, this trip is a GO !!!

As suggested, this will be MAKE YOUR OWN BEDS (everyone is on their own with regards to where they plan to sleep and eat)

I myself will be staying at the Holiday Inn @ Three Rivers. 3R is about a 50 minute drive to the center of Sequoia National Park. The rooms are normally $109 / night, but as a group (8 rooms or more, its 80ish). I wating for a reply from the manager).

Already there are 4 rooms spoken for (PK, McGizmo, Wayne and myself), so we just need 4 more reservations

More details on planned activites later

Cool... Count me in! I'll be coming in and campin' either by myself or with a few of my college mates. And we'll be over at maybe either Lodgepool or near the Cedar Grove area at the dates specified...

Hi guys,

I got a call from Jeff and he asked I provide the following info. The Holiday Inn Express at Three Rivers: 800-331-2140

You can call for a room and I booked one for $87.96. Seems they have different rates depending on your affiliations and possibly the current tide and winds..........

You can book on line for as low as $77 I believe but this can't be canceled or changed.

Jeff is trying to get his act together for a flight to Hawaii tomorrow AM so he is leaving it up to all of us to make our own arrangements. Seems fair to me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

First I wanted to fix the date in the title...

Then I wanted to mark this as a favorite. And NOW I'll look into seeing if this is possible - and possibly a carpool? That's my daughter's BD weekend, unfortunately, and my wife has given me the preliminary /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twak.gif
