Light received. Unfortunately the QC isn't that great. Oring not placed properly.

Sorry to see. That is extremely disappointing. Stevie Wonder could've seen that! (unless of course if it shifted post-production). I hope you'll update us on how Elzetta responds to this.

P.S. If you attempt to resolve it yourself, I recall someone (perhaps @bykfixer) warned that if the bezel ring is over-torqued, it's not difficult to crack the optic element, so use moderation when tightening.

That optic element is really thick! I'm not sure you could crack it if you tried. Unless I'm mistaken.

Whoever it was who said that (on CPF) was not theorizing - they were speaking from experience. Perhaps they can add further enlightenment if they're on this frequency. A word to the wise......

I had 2 Gen 1 arrive cracked from over tightening. My Gen 2's have all been flawless. But when I swapped out the factory bezel for a QCB bezel I cracked one. It's not hard to crack it at the outside edge. Not only that, but over tightening can also make it less water resistant by squashing the o'ring flat. You just want to snug it up then a little more tight is all you need.

Poor news that became good news. My brand new Elzetta A112, I dropped down a storm drain in the city I live in. Don't ask me why I am blessed with butter fingers, I have no idea. The good news is that with all the rain we have been getting, the city workers came out to clear the drain and were nice enough to find the light while I was standing out there. Not a single ding on it (granted it was all muckered up) and it works just the same it did when I first obtained it.

Elzetta quickly responded on my mail. Just remove the bezel and replace the oring. Which I already did. However, this is something that should've been noticed during QC.

My Charlie came without an oring on the body for the head. I called them about it and he asked if I bought it from another store, or third party. I said, "No, I bought it from you directly." He ended up sending me a new oring, but whoever is putting these together, needs to do a better job. Missing orings, smashed orings are indicative of no QA/QC.

I ran mine on high for over 10 hours on 2 eneloop pros. Started around 75-100 lumens and ended around 5-10. I ended the test but it would have gone longer.
