I was seriously considering buying FLIR when it was about $28 per share in October 2006... and now in a year it is approaching $70 a share. I like this company a lot, but a stock that more than doubles in a year seems to be artificially high.
Does anyone see FLIR coming back down to earth anytime soon? I may buy it when its below the $40 level....
I see a great long term future in this company (I think they have blue chip potential in 15-20 years), but I think the recent short term surge is temporary--right now they are a higher than average risk small cap.
