I need a torch under $50 that will last for 3 hours on high and maybe 6 to 8 hours on low voltage regulated hopefully with the new xp-g and if thats not impossable it would be even better if it used AA batterys...deam on.
I reccomend the Fenix L2D. If you want a 1 mode 90 lumen light, get the COAST 7736 Power Chip. You can get the COAST on frys.com. The Fenix is available on ebay. Fenix Outfitters is currently out of stock. I bought the last one haha.
For me, the Quark Mini123 is excellent. I like to think of the modes as low-high-turbo instead of low-med-high. Simply because its running somewhere in the vicinity of 190 lumens, and probably a little more, since I'm using RCR123as.
The Quark AA2 also seems to fit your needs though, since its programmable, uses AAs, and lasts freaking forever. It also uses XP-G R5s. Its only about 10 dollars over your budget, and worth every penny, I think.
