This puppy just arrived from batteryjunction (Thanks Matt!). I know this light goes on high first, which is what I preferred. But I thought you have to actually click the light on, then off, before it turns to low. What mine is doing is even if you just do a momentary on, then release, then momentary on again, it already changes to low. I'm just wondering if that's how it's really supposed to work.

Yup, it's normal. You can either click all the way through, or tap the switch.

Yup, that is perfectly normal. Here are the instructions from the Surefire website:

Two-stage tailcap switch: press for momentary-on at high setting, release and press again (within two seconds) for momentary-on at low setting; click for constant-on at high-setting, click off and on again (within two seconds) for constant-on at low setting

Ugh. That's exactly how I timed it, 2 secs. There goes the "momentary on, get off the x, momentary on".
