Donald that was the start of a MCR45 head for PEU's pinapple body that was never finished.

Tyler the new lathe is just a lathe. My old machine has a good size mill attached as it is a 3 in one machine. Also I find that my older lathe leaves a slightly smoother finish on parts as it is a belt driven lathe.
