I have a P1X tool from LMS and I have abused it too much and would like to resharpen it.

Is there any special technique to getting a good edge on it, or should I just run it on the flat side of a grinding wheel and then stone the edge?

I'm worried mainly about the angle under the cutting edge.

EDIT: I'd also like to know how much of a side angle to cut if I wanted to grind a little angle on it to part the piece off before the tool has completely parted the nub off.

thanks!

I sharpened my Kennametal turning and grooving tool at 10 Degrees and it is hit or miss getting the delrin parts that i make to part off clean all of the time.

Jason,

I have found that if I slow down a lot at the very end and take very light cuts, I dramatically increase the number of parts that are clean on the cut part.
