This review is for the Slim Jr, by Sunlite. I purchased 2 of these as gift's for Mothers day coming up. The price is a very reasonable $28.00.
The light itself is very nice to hold and grip....being that it is so small.
The specifications are as follows:
Overview
Brightness: 30 lumens
Size: 5.6 in. X 0.39 in.
Weight: 1.2 o.z. (with batteries)
Power source: 3 AAAA batteries
Run time: 6 hours
Housing Color: black, blue, red, pink, gold, silver, hot pink(in 'gift' section)
The model that I have has a different color. I believe they designed this one specifically for Mothers Day, as on the opposite side it has the words: "Property of Mom" etched.
It comes in a nice plastic case, which is very presentable as a gift for your beloved. The two I bought are for my wife and my mom.
Here is a breakdown picture:
The head is so tiny, I don't think I was able to get a shot of the LED emitter. Here is what I could get:
Size comparison:
Beamshots and comparison to other known lights:
Beamshots......here you have the Slim 100 lumen 3xAAA, Slim Jr 3xAAAA, KD Buckle 1xAAA, RiverRock 2xAAA, and Streamlight Stylus 3xAAAA
Here is the beam profile of the Slim Jr.
As you can see, it has a pretty decent little hotspot. I give kudos to Sunlite for packing the emitter and reflector in such a small package!!
One final picture for size comparison in the hand:
My overall thoughts are:
Pro's:
I'm impressed by the brightness of the 30 lumens in the hotspot it creates. It makes the light even more useful in that you can see things a little farther away. The color is nice and the overall construction of such a small penlight is very impressive. Pocket clip is stylish and does not snag on clothing. It is firm as well. Uses a forward clicky! The 3 AAAA batteries are included...nice touch.
Con's:
Will not tailstand...although that is not a huge complaint for this tiny light. The tint of the light is cool.....exactly like my 100 lumen Slim. I am beginning to desire warmer tints due to the constant use of my 8w and 16w. Upon my request...they will be creating warmer tints and they should be available in 1-2 weeks. So to add to the 'Pro's' above, they listen to their customers requests.
Please hit me up with any other requests....thanks for viewing! In the meantime, I will see if they can get a runtime chart for it.

The specifications are as follows:

- Basic Slim Jr. LED Flashlight also includes 3 AAAA batteries.

- The Slim Jr. Penlight efficiently drains heat from the LED chip, and efficiently conduct heat to the flashlight body.

- Copper reflector, also helps to drain heat away from the LED.
- Recessed glass lens to prevent scratch and yellowing.
- Push button on-off switch with momentary and constant illumination features.
- Anodized aluminum alloy housing, also functions as heat sink.
