check out 4sevens cytac charger. its worked well for me so far. best thing about it is 16430 and 14500 size batteries dont require any spacers. it costs about the same price.

There are some posts in the batteries subforum testing several cheap li-ion craddle chargers and it seems almost all of them can lead to trouble if you forget the batteries on them.

So far the only one that can be considered safe AND cheap seems to be the shekor one, from KD. It seems to properly stop charging the cells at about 4.15 V and refuses to overcharge the cells even trying to.
