Ok, it's going to cost about $40.

I have plenty of lights already and a working respirator that's rather not comfortable.

Found a more comfy respirator. Should I buy the respirator + P100/organic vapor/acid gas cartridges to improve comfort in long urban exploration(in those places with asbestos and mold infestation) or buy yet another light?

Get the respirator. You said you have plenty of lights, but only 2 lungs. You need them to enjoy your lights!

Good grief. If you're going into places w/ asbestos, mold, or even just fiberglass - get the respirator! :sick2:

Respirator. You'll be far more likely to use it when it's needed if it's comfortable. You'll use your lights when it's dark, regardless.

Respirator. More fancy lights are a luxury, a respirator is more important... besides then you'll have a backup respirator.

There are contaminant specific type filters and multi-gas/vapor type. Anyone know why you'd want one type over the other?

i.e. if you'll be working with a large amount of chlorine based cleaner, what are the advantages to using the dedicated mercury vapor & chlorine gas filter over a mutli-gas/vapor filter?

3M6009 Chlorine gas & mercury vapor filter cost $18/pair while a 3M6006 multi-gas/vapor(inclusive of chlorine and mercury vapor) is $10/pair.
