Worst Shipping EVER

all depends on when you post it, i troll new threads after i get home from work...if you are too far down the list i never see it lol...that is pretty funny, just too bad i keep getting redirected to "local gay,bi, lesbians looking to hookup" website :thumbsdow

yea...i know it, but i use this laptop just for surfin (no purchases) and i got it for a pack of smokes (good trade) so i can't justify putting protection on it for lots of dollars

..ya know, if you would keep away from all those "local gay,bi, lesbians looking to hookup" websites, you would never get those kinds of pop-ups/re-directs. :eek:oo:

Here's something that is FREE and very effective at finding/removing malware.

After you get it cleaned up, install AVG. It's also FREE!

awesome, thanks for the suggestion...maybe now i can get to the best buy website without 1.3492 million pop-ups letting me know where the closest best buy is and where to apply to work there and what their latest sale was etc etc

LMAO SFG2man.

You're browser stores cookies when you go to a website. Those cookies are like a map to what you have been doing.

If all you did was go to google and CPF you're probably only going to have those two and maybe a few others in your cookie folder.

When you go to websites, sometimes they look at your cookies to see what you have been up to. They use that to display ads for those same things you have been doing.

If you recently bought a CD off ebay, it might show music ads.

If you have that kind of stuff popping up, it's time to clear your cookies and get a fresh footprint :D

i've got mozilla set-up to automatically delete all cookies when i close it, but i thinks its just time for a new lappy, free is good...but now its 6 or 7 years behind.

edit: I just got back from badgering the best buy employees...got my new lappy woo! really slick toshiba, and this time i went ahead and put kaspersky internet security on it as it did cost a bit (bless you army for my bonuses) i have it on good authority that kaspersky is the best (REALLY good authority)

oh and to the op, do you think if I ordered one of those computers, they would put my household goods on there too? I need to move to texas and I think ordering a computer will be cheaper than renting a u-haul...plus hey, free computer...wish i woulda thought of that before i bought this lappy

fyi I'd suggest ccleaner, just deleting your cookies via browser isn't always enough. There are persistent flash based cookies that are NOT deleted in this method. (ccleaner does however erase those types).

Just a friendly community notice :)
