As long as I can get them I don't mind if they are ugly or not(as long as it's PK's design)!

I can't wait until they come out. I'm wondering if the KL6 will be brighter than the KL5 or just longer run-time?

I'm not trying to do a thread hijack, but I couldn't help but notice the Japanese gun magazine. I have three of them (different titles though), and I highly recommend them if you enjoy very technical very high detail photographs of various types of gear.

I thought that someone here said that PK designed the blister packaging for SureFire. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Am I to assume that he is more involved than that?

Wow, a guy like that probally eats M*g lights for breakfast.

If you have a surefire catalog, it says Paul Kim is in charge of R&D at Surefire.

I think there are several VP's of SureFire each with their different areas to look after.

Typically, there is only one president of the overall company. VP's are heads of various departments.

At least that's my take on the corporate world; one I view on occasion from the outside. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

EDIT: until PK can learn to use proper eating utensils, he will likely not go further up the corporate ladder; besides, he's a weenie! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Although it's old info from earlier this year:

Dr. John W. Matthews - President & CEO of SureFire

Paul Y. Kim - VP Engineering
Cameron Hopkins - VP Sales & Marketing
Gustav Bonse - VP Advanced Manufacturing
Ed Reynolds - VP Information Systems

Don, I thought you got arrested for peeking through SureFire's windows that one time before SHOT last year?

Actually, depending on the size of the corporation and how many areas of business interests they have, a corporation may have several presidents. Presidents of a business unit can report to a higher rank president (of a business area) or a CEO. There are many "ranks" of VP. Typically, a smaller corporation will have a senior VP as the second in charge. In a larger one, their may be no clear second. Usually, it the president or vice president with the largest operation (re: revenue) that wields the most clout. The CFO is kind of like the Spy in Stratego, if you know what I mean.

Re: www.pk-engineering.com has a new KL5-7 pic

I saw a memo in my company ststing that we were reducing the number of VP positions. It was signed by 11 of them.

In PK's case-Director would fit too, and some companies have a "Director of Engineering", and a Chief Engineer too.

Is that a whole fish in the soup bowl?
