Recently, blockbuster stopped charging late fees, but there is still something in their policy thingy where certain amounts of money are withdrawn from your credit card after the due date. They got sued by the NJ gov. and are probably going to pay bigtime.

I don't work there or anything so don't quote me. But I think the deal is: if you keep it for over a week past it's due date they charge your cc for the price of the movie.
But you return it within a month, they'll refund the money less a couple of bucks "re-stocking" fee.
They should make their policy more clear- but it's better than being charged the full rental fee every day it's late! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

LazerBurnz speaks the truth. i've run into this. it's still not bad, like $1.50 late fee for a movie being late for close to a month is still pretty damn good. the local public library charges more than that around here.
