That shallow reflector design would work rather poorly with LED. You'd be better off purchasing a LED specific light, since any conversion to the existing would be a one-off and possibly complicated design, with uncertain results.

Is there any specific reason that you're seeking after LED for your ATV? Efficiency usually isn't of great concern when you have an alternator. Incan or HID both provide a lot of throw and better color rendition.

If you're dead set on LED have a look here:

The halogen bulb I had for it broke and I need to get a new bulb. I didn't think the light was bright enough but I love how well the mount works. If someone can point me to a good bulb I would take it right now.

Im new to CPF so I need to ask what is or dose HID stand for?

I have a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 700 that this light goes on. The battery is still small and the ATV uses a lot of power just from normal use. If it starts to over heat I have to trun off some lights because when the fan kicks on it takes a lot of power even in the winter.

HID is High Intensity Discharge or what is often referred to as Xenon or Xenon-Arc. They run more efficiently and cooler than incan bulbs.

I'm heading out of the house at the moment but wanted to leave you with a link.

If it were me, I'd equip my ATV with HID or LED, but you'll have to start with a new platform altogether. Perhaps you could keep the other light as spare or pass it down to a friend.

Catch up with you later. :)
