Etek HID Spotlight Problem

Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post this?
I have an Etek HID Spotlight that has been working great up until recently,whenever I turn it on it just Flashes On then Off every time I hit the power switch.
The light is relatively new and hasn't seen very much use at all.

Any ideas as to what might be the problem? as I would like to try and fix it if possible.

Any help would be greatly Appreciated

It sounds to me like it most likely has a bad battery that needs to be replaced.

I'll check the battery out...
Might swap the battery for the one in my Hal. Spotlight if they match up and see if it works.
