Sry for asking this question again and again.
But i need new idea from you guys,
i'm thinking to buy new single AA flashlight.

my only criteria:
1. Small (single AA flashlight size)
2. using single AA battery
3. have high-med-low mode or vice versa. (don't realy need strobe or SOS)
4. good quality. (as good as it can, the most important criteria)
5. under au$30. (include shipping to AU if i need to buy online)
6. forward clicky on/off system
7. have bright light (80++ lumens OTF / ~100++ lumens)
8. don't care about beam pattern or beam color.

the only one i know that meets those criteria is ITP A2 EOS, since i've got one alredy (i know it's not forward clicky).
i just want to know is there another flashlight out there meet those criteria.
Thanks

I would recommend the Nitecore D10, but it's going to cost about double your budget.

I don't want to ThreadJack but I've also got a similar question.

I need to replace my Fenix L1D which has started to behave irregularly and I'm looking for the best 1xAA LED Flashlight (brightest, longest runtime, most durable, easiest UI).

Right now I'm looking hard at the Nitecore D10 SP. Are there other flashlights I should be considering.

TIA

D10 tribute ramping version from batteryjunction.com i really like mine, and the tribute edition comes with pocket clip and slotted PD.

and for the OP, i dont think there is a light out there with that price range. only thing i can think of is a budget DX light, of course quality would be questionable.

i say fork out the extra $20 and get something you wont regret.

EagleTac P10A might be worth a look.

Just got one for the car and I'm quite impressed. Solid construction, nice forward clicky with a simple head twist for high or low. It handles well and the beam is bright and smooth with a reasonable amount of throw.

Perhaps just a touch over your $30 budget, but you should be able to pick one up for a bit less than the D10 and in terms of value for money I thin it would be hard to beat.

I think it will be difficult to find a quality flashlight in that price range.

What about EZAA?

Did any of you bother reading the OP's signature? They've already got the D10 and pretty much a solid collection of lights already.

Hey mate, break out and go something with a 123 in it's name.

Got me a lovely EX10 R2 the other day and I love it. Nice and fat so it fits in your hand a bit better than a single AA.

Bright as too!

Quick money conversion says $27 US dollars or £18 UK pounds.A tight budget for a small light.

If you would accept a 100/50 lumens and strobe a Terralux Lightstar 100 would just about come in,I have one and it is a nice and reliable light.

You already have the most suitable torch ... The iTP A2 is perfect (apart from the clicky) ... If you get a torch with a tailcap clicky , it will be longer.

I had the same dilemma so I sent for the stainless version as well.

Get another , you know it makes sense ... If you don't mind M , L , H modes then the A3 is brilliant too ... Same lumens outputs but shorter duration but it is much smaller.

I just ordered this light from amazon.com and was wondering if you still have it and if it has gave you any problems or is it still a great light? Also is it american made? Thanks...

I've had mine for about 2 weeks now; got it from Amazon. It's a nice little light. More of a thrower than a floody in my opinion. I use an Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA in it. Lightens up the whole thing a bit. On one hand, I like the performance of Sanyo Eneloops, but they are heavy...

Have you considered the Fenix e11? Only 2 modes (no real low mode), high mode is relatively bright, and has forward clicky. I've been pleasantly surprised by mine, especially for the $. There have been some complaints about non-centered emitters, but mine is well positioned.

I got a Klarus P1A which meets most of your criteria. It is $38 but can be found for less. It has 150 lumins on high and 30 low. No medium but the low is bright enough to use for close up tasks so it is sort of a medium/low. I am impressed with the quality. Water proof. I dropped it in a glass of water on high and it had no problems.

I don't know of a better bang for the buck right now in a single AA light. It has a close relative in the Jetbeam BA10. I have one of those being shipped to me as we speak. I will let everyone know which I like better but they are basically the same light.

Hey Hank2,

I'd love to hear what you think of this light and how it compares with your other lights. Thanks.
