Magic Collection Number

Have you reached a number where you said you will not collect anymore? it can be based on the utility of a lights. for example, you can only have 1 thrower, 1 edc, etc
where you have to get rid of a light by either selling or giving it away before you get another?
what's the magic number? 2 lights of the same utility? 1 light? no limit? limit from the spouse?

my resultant number was from 1R + 2C + 2P + 4(E) + 5
R for room, how many rooms in the house
C for car, how many cars we own
P for people, how many occupants in the house besides you
E is really me, representing my EDC lights
5 is just 5, a constant that I think every household should have, regardless of how many rooms

the current number stands at 48...not 40 as I previously expected:sigh:

That is to low, then your could only order one light at a time

I have been above 10 lights in order at one time, at the current time I only have 4 lights on order:
Fenix TK20 (I gave my first one away)
Tomahawk
Sgt. Burkett
Spartanian II

And I might order a few more lights before they arrive.

So right now its limitless on what I want but what I can actually get is completely opposite

I have a spreadsheet with my lights listed, and I start getting antsy about selling some off when I get over 40....

I do lots of buying and selling just to experience the different makers/styles/etc...

I'm up to about 50 right now...

Nope.
Used to reduce the collection each time I passed 28. But gave up on that.
People ask "how many you got?" and now I just shrug n say "75?100?...stopped counting at 28.

May pause and reflect at times though. (ie pay down credit card lol)
